HALİÇ METRO CROSSING BRIDGE / STAY CABLE / İSTANBUL / TURKEY

Description of the Work:
Haliç Metro Crossing Bridge consists of 936 m bridge construction involving 387 meters
stay cable bridge, 120 meters rotating bridge, 241 m viaduct on the northern track and
169 m viaduct on the southern track, in addition to metro station entrance building
construction.

Freysaş Mission:
Each bridge deck is lifted and installed by Freysaş Freyssinet. The installations of decks
are made with H2000 Stay cables following the welding operations done by Astaldi -
Gülermak. 180 tons of stay cable, 72 FPH and RAB anchorage of 55, 61, 75 H2000 systems
are installed.

Post-tensioned Decks:
Consists of 246 tons of post-tensioned decks which are 169 m Unkapanı and 241 m Beyoğlu
decks. 334 19C14 and 96 13C15 anchorages are used in total.
In addition to these, 18 pot bearings and 20 seismic bearings are provided.
